Arizona Fog

Winter in Arizona is certainly the most enjoyable time of the year for those of us living in the central and southern portions of the state. This weekend major golf tournaments, and a certain important American football game have been making the state a hotspot for tourism and celebrity sightings. Normally we are enjoying temperatures ranging from 70 to 75 with 100% sunshine, but Mother Nature decided to throw some rain and coolness our way for these major mostly-outdoor events. This morning I woke up to a thick fog enveloping my neighborhood. As a Native Arizonan, I am always happy for rain and cold, dreary weather. I welcome it.

Here are a few photos I snapped behind the house in our beautiful desert backyard. It was also a great opportunity to test the video and HDR feature on my new camera.

A Photoshop HDR composite. I think the option was "ARTISTIC"...
