Traveling With Kids: Riverfront

This is beautiful country. Simply amazing, greener than anything I've ever seen, peaceful, scenic. Ahhh... I love being in the woods. Add a river and I have something close to nirvana. My dad's best friend since high school showed us a wonderful time at his riverside property in the mountains of Idaho. We spent a few hours where the kids were free to play, explore, roast some hot dogs and marshmallows. They cried when we had to leave. I almost did too, Arizona is on fire restrictions and we haven't been able to go North yet, ALL YEAR! We've been aching for a good campout, and the lovely M family gave us a little slice of heaven. We left at dusk, and saw herds of elk, deer and even a moose!
