This is such a peaceful, beautiful location, all within an hour and 15 minutes of the heart of Phoenix. I'd love to have a family session here at some point, if anyone's willing to make the drive, please contact me! This is where I originally purchased the pass. We went here last fall and the kids loved exploring the trails and splashing in the river. At that point, everything was changing and the water was pretty low. This time it was a green wonderland. Wow! Tall grasses lined the trails. Some of the trails were closed because the river was too high.

I gave M one of my old cameras so she could take photos of the flowers. CJ was a little jealous. But she shared with him, reluctantly. We ended up spending 4 hours here before heading back to the Valley. The trails are easy and perfect for nature lovers and bird watchers.
